’Nero' is taken from Laurence Pike's album 'Prophecy' (2020)
Nero is an evolution of techniques used for 2019’s ‘Drum Chant’, Pike was filmed in a motion capture arena, his motion reduced to an abstraction of dots that are still recognisably his performance.
A parallel interactive video allows the viewer to manipulate their angle of observation, challenging the recognition of the performing figure. (www.laurencepike.net)
